14 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: A <br />PORTION OF FAIRFAX AVENUE BETWEEN WALNUT AVENUE AND RICHMOND <br />AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, George A. and Martha L. Hunt have made appli- <br />cation to vacatet close and discontinue the hereinafter- <br />described portion of Fairfax Avenue, and it appearing that <br />Notice of Application and request for the appointment of <br />viewers was duly posted January 23, 1979 on the bulletin <br />board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the <br />City of Portsmouth~ the bulletin board of~the Circuit Court <br />of the City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin board of City <br />Hall of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank ~. Bilisoly, Linon <br />Vannf James Linehan, Richard Ottavior and James McGehee <br />be appointed viewers and Robert Reed be appointed an alter- <br />nate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fail <br />to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described <br />portion of such Avenue and to report to this Council in <br />writing whether in their opinion any~ and if any, what <br />inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the follow- <br />ing: <br /> <br />FAIRFAX AVENUE <br /> <br /> Between Walnut Avenue and Richmond <br />Avenue, more particularly described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Fairfax Avenue <br />in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, from <br />the West right-of-way line of Walnut Ave- <br />nue northwesterly for a distance of approx- <br />imately 115 feet. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held February 13, 1979. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
