83 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION <br />OF HAMILTON AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ronald C. Anthony has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portion of Hamilton Avenue, and it appearing that notice <br />of application and request for the appointment of viewers <br />was duly posted on September 18, 1980, on the bulletin <br />board of the C~rcuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, <br />the General District Court, Civil Division, City of Ports- <br />mouth, and the City Hall Building of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the -~ <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, James <br />V. McGhee, Raymond Tweed, C. E. Ellis and Linon Vann be <br />appointed viewers and. that Robert Reed be appointed an <br />alternate viewer in the event one of the preceeding viewers <br />fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter- <br />described portions of such streets and to report to this <br />Co~ucil in writing whether in their opinion any, and if <br />any~ what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br />HAMILTON AVENUE <br /> <br /> Ail that piece or parcel of land lying <br />and being situate in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, more particularly described as <br />all that portion of Hamilton Avenue between <br />the southern right-of-way line of Bruce <br />Place and the northern right-of-way line <br />of Wesley Street.
