82 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION <br />OF WOOL AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />hereinafter-described portion of Wool Avenue, and it appear- <br />ing that notice of application and request for the appoint- <br />ment of viewers was duly posted on September tS, 1980, on <br />the bulletin board of the CircUit Court of the City of <br />Portsmouth, the General District Court, Civil Division, of <br />the City of Portsmouth, and the City Hall Building of the City <br />of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, Louis <br />J. Leitner, Ho C. Harriston, James H. Griffin and Ja~es L. <br />Linehan, be appointed viewers and that George Newton Powers, <br />Sr. be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of <br />the preceding viewers fails to participate, 'said viewers <br />to view the hereinafter-described portion of such street <br />and to report to this Council in writing whether in their <br />opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result <br />in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />WOOL AVENUE <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of <br />land, lying and being designated'as the <br />shaded portion of Wool Avenue as shown <br />on that certain plat entitled: "Plat <br />Showing A Portion Of Wool Avenue To <br />Be Closed, Portsmouth, Virginia, For <br />Portsmouth Redevelopment And ~ousing <br />Authority", da%ed July 21, 1980, prepared <br />by Robert T.
