The terms of this conveyance shall be that within thirty <br />(30) days from the date of the adoption hereof, Portsmouth <br />Redevelopment And Housing Authority will present to the City <br />Manager a contract for the purchase of the hereinabove-described <br />property by a developer for the stated assessed value of the <br />property of One Twenty-four Thousand, Six Hundred Forty Dollars <br />($124,640.). <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is, authorized to complete all transactions and execute <br />all documents incident to such conveyance upon the conditions <br />stated herein; that the City Manager he, and he hereby is, <br />authorized to permit access to said property prior to the <br />transfer of title thereof for the purpose of soil borings <br />and testing to be completed by the perspective developer, <br />upon the condition that said developer shall agree to hold <br />the City of Portsmouth harmless from any and all claims, damages <br />or causes of action which may result from the conduct of such <br />testing by the developer or its agent. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held August 26, 1980. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City'Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
