(3) This use permit is approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) That the day care center may be operated for <br />up to twenty (20) children under the age of six (6) years of <br />age; <br /> <br /> (b) That no less than three (3) off-street park- <br />ing spaces be provided on the lot in the manner prescribed <br />by the City Code. <br /> <br /> (c) That the structure be altered and enlarged <br />to include a 16 x 26 foot addition, including lavatories <br />and amenities essential to the operation of a child day care <br />center and that enclosure of the utility room and the attached <br />garage is such that these areas of the principal building, <br />along w~th the remainder of the single family dwelling meet <br />all Codes of the City of Portsmouth; <br /> <br /> (d) That the owner/operator is authorized to dis- <br />play one non-illuminated sign attached to the facade of the <br />structure not to exceed an exposed area of ten (10) square <br />feet; <br /> <br /> (e) That the owner/operator shall comply with all <br />statutes~ ordinances~ policies and regulations of Federal, <br />State and local governments that may be applicable and shall <br />have obtained all necessary licenses and permits required <br />for this use~ including but not limited to, the Commonwealth <br />of Virginia license authorizing an enrollment of twenty (2°) <br />children. <br /> <br /> Adopted bY the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held June 23~ 1981. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
