48 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERS{IT TO HILDA JACKSON TO OPERATE <br />A CHILD/DAY CARE CENTER AT 361 CARVER CIRCLE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Hilda Jackson made an application pursuant to <br />§40-75(b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter <br />scribed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of PortSmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> (1) That the use for which the use permit hereinafter <br />is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will no% adversely affect the health and safety <br />of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the pro- <br />posed use; <br /> <br /> (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or <br />injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood; <br />and <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the <br />Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> (2) That Hilda Jackson is hereby granted a ute permit <br />pursuant to ~40-75(b) of the City Code to operate a day care <br />center at the property described as follows: <br /> <br />UP-81-2 <br /> <br /> Petition of Mrs. Hilda Jackson, owner, <br />for a use permit to operate a child day care <br />center on land zoned Residential R-75, located <br />at 361 Carver Circle, and described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning on the east side of Carver Circle <br />388', more or less, north from its intersection <br />with Moss Street; thence east 140'; thence north <br />55', more or less; thence west 140' to the east <br />right-of-way of Carver C±rcle; thence south along <br />said right-of-way 55', mo~e or less, to the point <br />of origin. <br /> <br /> <br />
