26 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING PROJECT <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 40-55 OF T~E CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTS- <br />MOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, AS AMENDED, SAID PROJECT BEING KNOWN <br />AS "COACH HOUSE APARTMENTS" AND DESIGNATED AS GHP-81-1. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Coach House Limited Partnership has made appli- <br />cation pursuant to Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973~ as amended, for the granting and <br />approval of a group housing project known as "Coach House <br />Apartments" which will occupied by elderly or senior citizens; <br />and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the application has been determined by the <br />Planning Conusission to have met the requirements of Section <br />40-55~ Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, as <br />amended~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed such appli- <br />cation and site plans submitted therewith and has recommended <br />approval of said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that approval <br />of the group housing project pursuant to said Section 40-55 <br />of the Code of the City of Portsmouth grants only an exemption <br />from certain reqmirements for residences as stated in Section <br />40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth and does not con- <br />stitute a waiver of any other requirements embodied in the <br />Subdivision Ordinance~ the Zoning Ordinance, the Code of the <br />City of Portsmouth or any other applicable State or Federal <br />laws or regulations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer is aware that building permits <br />and/or any other required permit will be issued only upon <br />compliance with ordinances, laws or regulations applicable <br />thereto. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the certain group housing project <br />known as "Coach House Apartments" and designated as GHP-8!-I, <br />and more specifically shown on plans entitled, "Coach House <br />Apartments", prepared by Dan E. Griffin, Architect, filed with <br />the Building Official of the City of Portsmouth and made a <br />part hereof, is hereby granted approval. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held February 24, 1981. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
