3. The following conditions are prescribed for this <br />use permit: <br /> <br /> (a) Prior to approval of any building permits, <br />the applicant shall obtain from the appropriate agency of <br />the Commonwealth of Virginia, certificates of essential <br />intermediate care and any other permits~'th~t may'b~equired <br />for the construction or operation of a convalescent or <br />nursing home pursuant to the law of the Commonwealth of <br />Virginia. <br /> <br /> (b) The facility shall be constructed to accomodate <br />not more than sixty (60) persons. <br /> <br /> (c) Prior to the issuance of any building permit, <br />the applicant shall submit to the City Planning Commission <br />for its approval a site plan, which site plan shall include <br />adequate off-street parking, loading facilities and screen- <br />ing from adjoining residential property. Failure of the <br />Planning Commission to approve or disapprove said site plan <br />at a regular monthly meeting within sixty (60) days of the <br />date the site plan is submitted shall be grounds for appeal <br />to City Council. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held February .24, 1981. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
