70 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION <br />OF WYTHE ST~EF.T, H~_RRISON STP~EET AND RANDOLPH STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application <br />to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portions of certain streets, and it appearing that Notice <br />of application and request for the appointment of viewers <br />was duly posted on August 25, 1981, on the bulletin board <br />Of the City Hal~l Building of the City of Portsmouth, the <br />General District Court, Civil Division, and the Circuit <br />Court of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A.~N. Kendrick, Linon <br />Vann, C. H. Hairston, James H. Griffin and James L. Linehan <br />be appointed viewers.and that J. R. Wilkerson and Howard L. <br />Davis be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of <br />the preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to <br />view the hereinafter-described portions of such streets <br />and to report to this Council in writing whether in their <br />opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result <br />in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />WYTHE $'TREET <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Wythe Street extended <br />having a uniform width of 60' and lying between <br />the eastern boundary of First Street and the <br />established line of the Southern Branch of the <br />Elizabeth 'River. <br /> <br />HARRIS'ON STREET <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Harrison Street'Extended <br />having a uniform width of 60' and lying between <br />the eastern boundary of First Street and the <br />established line of the Southern Branch of the <br />Elizabe~h River. <br /> <br />RAND'O~PH 'STREET <br /> <br /> All that portion of Randolph Street extended <br />having a uniform width of 60' and lying between <br />the eastern boundary of First Street and the <br />established line~f the Southern Branch of the <br />ElizabethRiver. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held September 8, 1981. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
