44 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PLAN. FOR 1982-83 THROUGH 1986-87, AND A ONE YEAR CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR 1982-83. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to Council <br />the Capital Improvements Plan for 1982-83 through 1986-87; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, the Citizens <br />Advisory Co,L~ittee and the Municipal Finance Commission <br />have reviewed said Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to receive <br />public comments on the Capital Improvements Plan and on <br />the One Year Capital Improvement Program, and on the <br />General Revenue Sharing Funds included therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has considered the Capital Improve- <br />ments Plan and the utilization of General Revenue Sharing <br />Funds and f~nds them to be in proper form and expressive <br />of Council policies in regard to necessary capital imp~ove- <br />merits. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia that the aforesaid Capital <br />Improvements Plan for the years 1982-83 through 1986-87, <br />and a One Year Capital Improvement Program for 1982-83 are <br />approved subject to later appropriation in the ordinary <br />course of business of the City. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 8, 1982. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
