103 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO WILLI_~4 G. LEAKE TO OPERATE A WHOLESALE AUTO PARTS SALES BUSINESS AT 2201 HIGH S~REET. - .............. r WHEREAS, William G. Leake, property owner, has made application pursuant to Section 40-68.1 (e) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia~ 1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Connnission has recommended the granting of said use permit. N~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City' of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the use for which the use peri. it is sought: (a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the pro- posed use; injurious and (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or to the property or improvements in the neighborhood; (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. 2. WtllialG G. Leake is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to ~40-68.1 (e) of the City Code to operate a wholesale auto parts sales business at 2201 High Street, such property being more specifically described as Ta>: Plate 171, Parcel 12. (UP-83-20) 3. This use permit is approved subjec-h to the following condition: (al The applicant shall provide off-street parking for all vehicles operated by the enterprise, plus one (1) space for each five (5) employees.
