AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 40-121 (a) (i), <br />PERTAINING TO THE DOWNTOWN D-1 DISTRICT MIXED USE SUBAREA. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-121 (a) (i) be amended by <br />including therein the following described use: <br /> <br /> Funeral homes, undertaking establishments, and <br /> <br />embalming upon the granting of a use permit as provided in <br />this Chapter. <br /> <br /> 2.
