Section 24-56. Commercial vehicles. <br /> <br /> No person shall operate a bus, taxicab or other <br />commercial vehicle designed or used for transportation <br />of passengers or property within any pa~k, recreational <br />area, or playground without a permit specifically <br />authorizing the operation of a commercial vehicle within <br />such park, recreational a~ea, or playground. <br /> <br /> Any violation of this section shall constitute a <br />Class 3 misdemeano~ punishable by a fine not to exceed <br />five hundred ($500.00) dollars. <br /> <br />Section 24-58. Alms and contributions. <br /> <br /> No person shall, within any park, ~ecreational <br />area, or playground, solicit alms or contributions fo~ <br />any purpose. <br /> <br /> Any person convicted of a violation of this section <br />shall be sentenced for the first offense to pay a fine <br />of not less than one hundred ($100.00) dollars and not <br />more than five hundred ($500.00) dollars or undergo <br />imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, or both, <br />and for the second and any subsequent offense to pay a <br />fine of not less than five hundred ($500.00) dollars and <br />not more than one thousand ($1000.00) dollars or to <br />undergo imprisonment not more than one (1) year, or <br />both. <br /> <br />Section 24-59. Flowers, plants, etc. <br /> <br /> No person shall remove, destroy, cut down, scar, <br />mutilate, injure, take or gather in any manner any tree, <br />flower, fern, shrub, rock, or plant or mineral in any <br />pa~k, recreational area or playground. <br /> <br /> Any violation of this section shall constitute a <br />Class 3 misdemeanor. <br /> <br />Section 24-62. Pollution of waters. <br /> <br /> No person shall in the waters of any river, stream, <br />lake, pond, pool, fountain or other waters in any park <br />bathe dogs or other animals, wash vehicles or clothng, <br />or throw, drop or discharge into or leave in the <br />streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, pools, fountains or other <br />waters of the park, or in any storm sewe~ or drain <br />flowing into said waters, any substance, matte~ or <br />thing, liquid or solid, which may or shall result in the <br />pollution of said waters, or start the water flowing <br />from any water supply or spigot not specifically <br />designated as a watering place for people or animals. <br /> <br /> <br />
