Section 107 (a). Appeals. <br /> (a) Any person receiving written notice from <br />the Director of Housing Services and Community <br />Development or his representative, of deficiencies of <br />property under this Code may within fifteen (15) days <br />following the date of such notice, enter an appeal in <br />writing to the Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals. <br />Such appeals shalt state the location of the property, <br />the date of the notice of violations, and the number of <br />such notice. The appellant must state the variance or <br />modification requested, the reason therefor, and the <br />hardship or conditions upon which the appeal is made. <br /> No appeal filed later than fifteen (15) days <br /> after the date of such notice shall be acted upon by the <br /> Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals, unless the <br /> Director of Housing Services and Community Development <br /> shall consent thereto. <br /> <br /> Section 17-20. Rules, Regulations for Administration, <br /> Enforcement of Article. <br /> The Director of Housing Services and Community <br /> Development, with the approval of the Housing Board of <br /> Adjustments and Appeals, may make and adopt such rules <br /> and regulations as may be necessary for the <br /> administration and enforcement of this Article. Such <br /> rules and regulations shall not be in conflict with or <br /> an enlargement of any of the provisions of this Article. <br /> It shall be unlawful ~or any person to fail, neglect, or <br /> refuse to comply with such rules and regulations so <br /> adopted. <br /> The term "Director" as used in this Chapter <br /> shall refer to the Director of Housing Services and <br /> Community Development. <br /> <br />Section 17-22. Procedure <br /> <br />for Abatement of Nuisance. <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding any of the provisions of this <br />Article, whenever in the judgment of the Director of <br />Housing Services and Community Development there exists <br />upon any land or premises or in any dwelling unit any <br />condition that constitutes a nuisance or menace to <br />health that should be remedied, abated or removed <br />~mmediately, the Director may proceed in accordance with <br />the provisions of Sections 16-26 and 16-27. <br /> <br /> <br />
