43 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION.APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION <br />OF TREXLER AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portion of Tre×ier Avenue, and it appearing that notice of <br />applica~£on and request for the appointment of viewers has <br />been duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. No Kendrick, J. R. <br />Wilkerson, Howard L. Davis, George N. Powers, Sr. and C. L. <br />Knight be appointed viewers, and that Albert J. Carr and <br />Harrison Miller be appointed alternate viewers in the event <br />one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said <br />viewers to view the hereinafter-described portion of such <br />street, and to report to this Council in writing whether in <br />their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would <br />result in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />TREXLER AVENUE <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Trexler Avenue from its <br />intersection with Magnolia Street westerly to the <br />southern boundary of the property of the Depart- <br />merit of Highways and Transportation of the Common- <br />wealth of Virginia (I-264). <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />at a meeting held May 8, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
