28 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION <br />OF RAVEN STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, A1 Dumire and Charles Sa%terfield, Jr. have <br />made application to vacate, close and discontinue the herein- <br />after-described portion of Raven Street, and it appearing <br />that notice of application and request for the appointment <br />of view, ers was duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by %he Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, James <br />Moss, Clinton J. Fortune, Matthew L. P~anort, and L. A. <br />Clark be appointed viewers, and that Simon P. Arrington and <br />R. E. B. Stewart be appointed alternate viewers in the event <br />one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said <br />viewers to view the hereinafter-described portion of such <br />street and to report to this Council in writing whether in <br />their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result <br />in the vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />RAVEN STREET <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Raven Street between <br />Greenwood Drive and Barclay Avenue. <br /> <br /> ~dopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held March 27, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
