29 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO LEASE CITY OWNED <br />PROPERTY TO THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (30 PROSPECT <br />PARKWAY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service desires to <br />lease that portion of the premises owned by the City of <br />Portsmouth known as 30 Prospect Parkway for the purpose <br />of housing the Cradock Station Postal Facility; and <br /> <br /> ~IEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth is <br />of the opinion that it would be in the best interest of <br />the citizens of the City to lease said premises for such <br />purpose. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and <br />he hereby is, authorized to lease City owned property <br />designated as 30 Prospect Parkway to the United States <br />Postal Service. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and <br />he hereby is, authorized to execute such documents as may <br />be necessary to complete said transaction. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held March 27, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
