AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY ~ENDING SECTIONS 40-70 (a) AND (b) <br />AND 40-71 (a) THEREOF, PERTAINING TO PERMITTED USES IN <br />COMMERCIAL C-1 AND C-2 DISTRICTS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-70 (a) of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended by adding thereto <br />the following described uses: <br /> <br />1. Athletic and health clubs. <br /> <br />2. Finance and loan companies. <br /> <br /> 3. Marina: A small harbor or boat basin pro- <br />viding dockage, supplies or services for small pleasure craft. <br /> <br /> 2. That Section 40-70 (b) of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, I973, be amended by including in sub- <br />paragraph (b) thereof, the following, described use: <br /> <br />premises <br />building <br /> <br />1. Incidental installation of products bought on <br />provided no more than forty percent (40%) of total <br />ms devoted to such purposes. <br /> <br /> 3. That Section 40-71 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended by including in sub- <br />paragraph (a) thereof, the following described use: <br /> <br />t. Athletic and health clubs. <br /> <br /> 4.
