Section 23-65. <br /> <br />Drivers to signal for certain movements; <br />change of course; duty of drivers receiving <br />signals. <br /> <br /> (g) A person riding a bicycle or moped shall signal his <br />intention to stop, turn, or change direction. S~ch signals, <br />however, need not be given continuously if both hands are <br />needed in the control or operat±on of the bicycle or meped. <br /> <br /> 3. That Section 23-395 of Chapter 23 of the Code of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended and re- <br />ordained by adding thereto paragraphs (d) and (e) to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 23-395. Tire treads. <br /> <br /> (d) Notwithstanding the exemptions provided in subsection <br />(c) of this section, %he provisions of subsections (al and (b) <br />of this section shall apply to buses owned or operated by <br />any public school district, private school or contract <br />operator of school buses. <br /> <br /> (e) The provisions of this section shall not apply to any <br />vehicle not required to be registered or licensed. <br /> <br /> 4. That Section 23-380 of Chapter 23 of the Code of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, as amended, be'repealed. <br /> <br /> 5.
