reasonably possible to the extreme left ~i~e or edge of the <br />left-hand lane so that they will be facing oncoming traffic <br />at all times. <br /> <br /> (b) No person riding upon any bicycle, moped, roller <br />skates, toys or other devices on wheels or runners, shall <br />attach the same or himself to any vehicle upon a roadway-~ <br /> <br />Section 23-360. Lamps on bicycles and mopeds. <br /> <br /> Every bicycle and moped when in use between sunset and <br />sunrise shall be equipped with a lamp on the front which shall <br />emit a white light visible in clear weather from a distance <br />of at least five hundred (500) feet to the front and with a <br />red reflector on the rear of a type approved by the super- <br />intendent which shall be visible from all distances in clear <br />weather fi'om fifty (50) feet to three~hund[red (300) feet to <br />the rear when directly in front of a lawful upper beams of <br />head laraps on a motor vehicle. A lamp ermltting a red light <br />visible in clear weather from'a distance of five hundred (500) <br />feet to the rear may be used in lieu of or in a~dition to the red <br />reflector. <br /> <br />Section 23-375. Tampering with odometers. <br /> <br /> (e) Any person convicted of a violation of the provisions <br />of this section shall be fined not more than one thousand <br />dollars ($1,000.00) or confined in jail not more than twelve <br />(12) months, or both for a first offense. <br /> <br />Section 23-376. Brakes required. <br /> <br /> (a) Every motor vehicle when operated upon a highway <br />shall be equipped with brakes adequate to control the movements <br />of and to stop and hold such vehicle, and such brakes shall <br />be maintained in good working order and shall conform to <br />regulations provided in ~23-377 through 23-379. <br /> <br /> (b) Every bicycle and moped when operated upon a highway <br />shall be equipped with a brak~ which will enable the operator <br />to make the braked wheels skid on dry, level, clean pavement. <br /> <br />Section 23-381.1. Suspension systems; prohibition of alteration <br /> thereof; exceptions; penalty for violation. <br /> <br /> (c) Any person who violates 'any provision of this section <br />shall be guilty of a traffic infraction and shall be punishable <br />by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars f$100.00). <br /> <br /> <br />
