1984-52 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTIONS 21-21, AND 21-114 THEREOF, <br />PERTAINING TO CHEMICAL BLOOD ALCOHOL TESTS AND PETIT LARCENY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 21-21 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended and reordained to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 21-21. Use of chemical test to determine alcohol in <br /> blood; procedure; qualifications and liability <br /> of person withdrawing blood; cost; evidence; <br /> suspension of license for refusal to submit to <br /> test. <br /> <br /> The provisions of Article II of Chapter 7, ~18.2-268 (a) <br /> through (s), Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, are hereby in- <br /> corporated by reference and adopted as a part of this Code. <br /> 2. That Section 21-114 of the Code of the City of <br /> Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended and reordained to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 21-114. Petit larceny defined; how punished. <br /> <br />Any person who: <br /> <br /> (1) <br />or other <br /> <br /> Co--its larceny from the person of another of money <br /> thing of value of less than five dollars ($5.00); or <br /> <br /> (2) Commits simple larceny not from the person of another <br />of goods and chattels of the value of less than two hundred <br />dollars ($200.00); <br /> <br />shall be deemed guilty of petit larceny, which shall <br />able as a Class 1 Misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> 3.
