ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-86-21 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of Zoning Map attached to and <br />made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, which now zones as Downtown D-1 <br />Subdistrict Industrial I the property described in Petition <br />for Zoning Amendment No. Z-86-21 is hereby amended and <br />changed so as to s~w said property zoned as Downtown D-1 <br />Subdistrict Mixed Use M-K Conditional, and that said <br />property is hereby zoned as Downtown D-1 Subdistrict Mixed <br />Use M-K Conditional. <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance is <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-86-21 <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at the northeast inter- <br />section of County Street and Harbor Drive; <br />thence north along the east right-of-way <br />of Harbor Drive to the south right-of-way <br />of King Street; thence east along said <br />right-of-way to the west right-of-way of <br />Constitution Avenue; thence south along <br />said right-of-way 125'+; thence west 60'; <br />thence south 95'+ to t~e north right-of- <br />of County Street? thence west along said <br />right-of-way to the east right-of-way <br />of Harbor Drive, the Point of Origin. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning A~end~nt Ordinance Z-86-21 is condition%d <br />upon the following as proffered by the petitioner: <br /> <br /> (a) The use shall be limited to a business <br />college. <br /> <br /> (b) If the use of the property as a business <br />college ceases, the zoning designation will revert back <br />Downtown D-1 Industrial Subdistrict. <br /> <br />to <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia at a meeting held October 28, 1986. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
