AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY REPEALING SECTIONS 8-2 AND 8-3 THEREOF <br />PERTAINING TO THE POWERS AND DUTIES; QUALIFYING BOND; FEES AND <br />COMPENSATION OF THE OFFICE OF THE HIGH CONSTABLE. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that Sections 8-2 and 8-3 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, pertaining to the powers and <br />duties; qualifying bond; fees and compensation of the Office <br />of the High Constable be, and the same hereby are, ~epealed. <br /> <br />This o=dinance shall take effect as of July 1, 1986. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of PoFtsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting h~td June 24, 1986. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
