61 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A <br />PORTION OF A 20' ALLEY ON THE EAST SIDE OF TYRE NECK <br />ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Leslie Thomas, Dolly M. Thomas, Harry C. <br />Jordan, Reginald Black, Sr., Eleanor B. Harris, Ethel <br />Smith, Rosetta Mann, John P. Yancy and Alexander A. <br />Denson have made application to vacate, close and <br />discontinue the hereinafter described portion of a <br />certain 20' alley, and it appearing that notice of <br />application and request for the appointment of viewers <br />was duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Vir§inia, that Richard D. <br />Ottavio, Simon P. Arrington, Robert McCurdy, James P. <br />McGehee and Raymond Tweed be appointed viewers and that <br />Moses Gibson and Emmerson Smith be appointed alternate <br />viewers in the event one of the preceding viewers fails <br />to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter- <br />described portion of such alley and to report to this <br />Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if <br />any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and <br />closing the following: <br /> <br /> That certain 20 foot alleyway running in <br />a generally east and west direction dividing <br />the block generally Dounded by Tyre Neck Road <br />on the eas~, Fawkes Street on the north, <br />Academy Avenue on the west, and Eric Street on <br />the south, in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 10, 1986. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
