59 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING <br />PROJECT PURSUANT TO §40-55 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PQRTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, SAID PROJECT CONSISTING OF <br />APPROXIMATELY 65 RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINIUM UNITS TO BE <br />LOCATED ON A PARCEL OF LAND TO THE EAST OF WATER STREET <br />BETWEEN LONDON BOULEVARD AND HIGH STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation has made <br />application pursuant to ~40-55 of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, as amended, for the <br />granting and approval o~ a group housing project <br />consisting of approximately sixty-five (65) residential <br />condominium units on a parcel located to the east of <br />Water Street between London Boulevard and High Street as <br />shown on a plat showing Survey of Development Parcel <br />61-A through 61-H, Crawford Renewal Project VA. R-53, <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, such group <br />housing project having been designated as GHP-86-4; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application has been determined by the <br />Planning Commission to have met the requirements of <br />~45-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, VirgInia, <br />1973, as amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission had reviewed such <br />application and site plan submitted therewith and has <br />recommended a conditional approval of said application; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth has <br />reviewed the proposed group housing project and <br />revisions thereto and site plans submitted with such <br />revisions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that the <br />approval o~ a group housing project pursuant to ~40-55 <br />grants only an exemption from certain requirements for <br />residences as stated in said section and does not <br />constitute a waiver of any other requirement embodied in <br />the Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning ordinance, Code of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, or any other applicable <br />local, state or federal laws or regulations; and <br /> <br /> W~HEREAS, the developer is aware <br />permits or any other required permit <br />upon compliance with the ordinances, <br />regulations applicable thereto. <br /> <br />that building <br />will be issued only <br />law's, and <br /> <br /> <br />
