AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 40-82 BY ADDING THERETO <br />PARAGRAPH (b) PERTAINING TO USES PERMITTED IN THE PRESERVATION <br />P-1 DISTRICT UPON THE GRANTING OF A USE PERMIT. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-82 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended by adding thereto <br />paragraph (b), such new paragraph to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 40-82. Preservation P-1 District Uses. <br /> <br /> (b) within the preservation P-1 District, the following <br />uses may be permitted upon the granting of a use permit as <br />provided in this Article: <br /> <br /> Marina: A small harbor or boat basin providing <br />dockage, supplies or services for small Dleasure craft. <br /> <br />Restaurants, except those providing drive-in curb <br /> <br />service. <br /> <br /> 2.
