A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF FITZGERALD STREET. WHEREAS, Vacon Development, Inc., has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described street, and it appearing that Notice of Application and Request for the Appointment of Viewers has been duly advertised as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, Simon P. Arrington, Robert McCurdy, James V. McGehee and Raymond T~eed be appointed viewers and that Emmerson Smith and C.L. Knight be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described portion of such street and 5o report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: Fitzgerald Street Ail that certain portion of Fitzgerald Street from the southern boundary of Portsmouth Boulevard to the terminus of Fitzgerald Street at the property now or formerly owned by the City of Portsmouth, being more particularly described as being bounded on the north by the properties of Pearl B. Peebles, Eva T. Dove, William H. Gray, Henry and Lethia Thornton, Oliver E. Jacksonr Archer E. and Forrest L. Gardner, the City of Portsmouth, and Susie Magee Miller, Map Parcels 151-17 through 26; bounded on the east by the properties of Pearl B. Peebles, Blanche Smith Carver, Susie Magee Miller and the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, Map Parcels 151-5, 17 and 26; bounded on the south by property of the City of Portsmouth, Map Parcel 151-4; bounded on the west by property of the City of Portsmouth Map Parcel 151-3.
