116 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AN EASEMENT <br />AGREEMENT WITH VIRGINIA POWER COMPANY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has constructed a sewage pumping <br />station in the PortCentre Commercial Complex; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Virginia Power Company has requested an easement <br />12' in width along the western boundary of the pump station <br />property in order to provide electric utility service for the <br />~ump station. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the C~ty Manager be, and he <br />hereby is, authorized to sign an easement agreement with <br />Virginia Power Company for the following described property, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land, <br />situate, lying and being in the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, shown on that certain <br />plat entitled "Plat to Accompany Right-of-Way <br />Agreement City of Portsmouth, Plat No. <br />24-87-0120" attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is, authorized to sign such deeds and other documents <br />as may be necessary to carry out the intent of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held December 8, 1987. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
