44 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION <br />OF WINSTON ROAD (FORMERLY SOUTHERN PINES DRIVE). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rustom J. Irani and Milda A. Irani have mad~ <br />application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter <br />described portion of Winston Road, and it appearing that <br />Notice of Application and Request for Appointment of Viewers <br />has been duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, <br />Charles R. Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Miller and Moses <br />Gibson be appointed viewers and that L.A. Clark and Emmerson <br />Smith be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the <br />preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view <br />the hereinafter described portion of said street and to <br />report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion <br />any, and if any what, inconvenience would result in vacating <br />and closing the following: <br /> <br />Winston Road (formerly Southern Pines Drive) <br /> <br /> That portion of Winston Road (formerly <br />Southern Pines Drive) beginning at a point on <br />the eastern side of Winston Road (formerly <br />Southern Pines Drive) N 53 degrees 41 minutes <br />west, plus or minus 50 feet along the north <br />side of Winston Road; thence N 20 degrees 06 <br />minutes 40 seconds east, plus or minus t00 <br />feet; thence S 63 degrees 25 minutes east, <br />plus or minus 50 feet; thence S 20 degrees 06 <br />minutes 40 seconds west, plus or minus 100.18 <br />feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held April 28, 1987. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
