Section 31-262 (b). Service retirement. <br /> <br /> The provisions of Subsection (a) of this section to the <br />contrary notwithstanding, any member who, for the two year <br />period immediately before retirement, was employed in a <br />bonafide executive or a high Dolicy-making Dosition, as that <br />term is defined in the Age Discrimination Employment Act (29 <br />U.S.C.S. 621, et seg.), attaining age seventy (70) shall be <br />retired forthwith. <br /> <br /> 5. That Section 31-268 (b) of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth be repealed. <br /> <br /> 6. That this ordinance shall take effect from the date <br />of its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held February 23, 1988. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
