ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Z-88-10. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That a portion of the Zoning Map attached to and made <br />a part of nhe Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, which now zones as Commercial C-1 the property <br />described in Petition for Zoning Amendment No. Z-88-10 is <br />hereby amended and changed so as to show said property zoned <br />as Commercial C-2-K Conditional. <br /> <br /> The property affected by this ordinance is described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Z-88-10 <br /> <br /> BEGINNING on the north side of Portsmouth <br />Boulevard 196' east from its intersection with <br />Bradley Avenue; thence north 213'; thence east <br />100'; thence south 213' to the north right-of- <br />way of Portsmouth Boulevard; thence west along said <br />right-of-way 100' to the Point of Beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-88-10 is conditioned <br />upon the following as proffered by the petitioner: <br /> <br /> (a) The use of the property will be limited to <br />uses permitted in the C-1 Zoning District and retail s~les <br />and outdoor display of tombstones and cemetery monumenns. <br /> <br /> (bi No sandblasting or tooling of tombstones or <br />monuments will be conducted on the premises. <br /> <br /> (c) Ail signage shall comply with the C-t sign <br />regulations as provided for in the Zoning Chapter of the Code <br />of the City of Portsmouth, as amended. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held July 26, 1988. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
