AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 26-4 AND 26-6 OF THE CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, AS AMENDED, PERTAINING <br />TO MEMBERSHIP ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 26-4 and 26-6 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 26-4. Vacancies on Commission. <br /> <br /> Vacancies on the Planning Commission shall be filled by <br />appointment by the City Council for the remainder of the <br />unexpired term. <br /> <br />Section 26.6. Removal of citizen members of Commission. <br /> <br /> The City Council may remove any member of =he Planning <br />Commission for malfeasance in office. <br /> <br /> 2.
