66 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO TOWNE POINT SQUARE ASSOCIATES TO OPERATE STORAGE WAREHOUSES AT GATEWAY DRIVE AND TWIN PINES ROAD. WHEREAS, Towne Point Square Associates has made application pursuant to ~40-71(b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, for the granting of a use permit to operate storage warehouses on property on the south side of Gateway Drive and east of Twin Pines Road; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the conditional granting of a use permit for the operation of storage warehouses. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: (a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use; (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or injurious to the property and improvements of the neighborhood; and (c) ~ill be in accordance with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. 2. Towne Point Square Associates is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to S40-71(b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, to operate storage warehouses on property on the south side of Gateway Drive and east of Twin Pines Road, such area being more particularly described as follows: UP-89-9 BEGINNING on the east right-of-way line of Twin Pines Road a distance of 285' + from its intersection with the south right-Of-way line of Gateway Drive; thence easterly 750' ~ to a point; thence southerly 25'; thence westerly 760.41' to the east right-of-way line of Twin Pines Road; thence northerly along said line 25' to the point of beginning.
