AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $76,432. FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR <br />THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOUR ADDITIONAL CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS <br />FOR THE PORTSMOUTH SHERIFF'S OFFICE AS AUTHORIZED BY THE STATE <br />COMPENSATION BOARD. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the sum of Seventy-Six Thousand Four Hundred <br />Thirty-Two and 00/100 ($76,432.) Dollars be, and the same <br />hereby is, appropriated from the General Fund for the purpose <br />of providing four additional correctional officers for the <br />Portsmouth Sheriff's office as authorized by the State <br />Compensation Board. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held September 26, 1989. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
