(2) The request for a variance under this section must <br />be made in writing, identifying the specific regulation from <br />which a variance is sought, the actual variance sought, and <br />th~'injustice or hardship which will result if it is not <br />granted. <br /> <br /> (3) The planning director shall be responsible <br />presenting the request for a variance to the planning <br />commission. <br /> <br />for <br /> <br /> (4) The planning commission shall consider the variance <br />request along with the rest of the subdivision application at <br />the current stage of the application process and shall grant <br />or deny such request in accordance with the variance standards <br />set forth in article II of this chapter. <br /> <br />Section 33-71. Application in general. <br /> <br /> (e) Every such plat or deed of dedication to which the <br />plat is attached, shall be executed and acknowledged in <br />conformance with the provisions of Virginia Code Sections <br />15.1-476 and 477 (1950, as amended). <br /> <br />Sec. 33-73. Preliminary plat. <br /> <br /> The subdivider/developer shall presen% to the planning <br />commission ten (10) copies of a preliminary plat az a minimum <br />scale of one hundred (100) feet to the inch, which shall show <br />thereon: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Proposed subdivision or development name or <br />identifying title and a description of its <br />location; <br /> <br />(2) Name and address of record owners, subdivider <br /> and designer of preliminary layout; <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Map of survey of the tract boundary certified <br />by a licensed surveyor, or a certified metes <br />and bounds description of the proposed <br />development; <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />The names of all <br />adjacent thereto, <br />ers of record of <br />property; <br /> <br />subdivisions immediately <br />and the names of the own- <br />adjacent unsubdivided <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />Date of drawing, true north point, scale, <br />legend for all symbols used, and name of <br />person preparing the drawing. If shown <br />on more than one (1) sheet, match lines <br />shall clearly indicate where the several <br />sheets 3oin; <br /> <br /> <br />
