AN ORDINANCE TO ~END SECTION 13 OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN (ORDINANCE NO. 1989-47), <br />PERTAINING TO SALARIES FOR UNCLASSIFIED POSITIONS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 13 of Ordinance No. 1989-47, City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, Classification and Pay Plan be amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 13. Salaries for Unclassified Positions. <br /> <br /> (a) The annual salary rates of the following <br />unclassified positions shall be the amounts stated herein: <br /> <br />7/1/89 - 10/1/89 <br />9/30/89 6/30/90 <br /> <br />(1) City Manager $89,831 $92,526 <br />(2) City Attorney 78,300 XX <br />(3) City Assessor 50,142 52,649 <br />(4) City Clerk 34,997 36,747 <br />(5) Mayor' 15,000 15,000 <br />(6) City Council 13,000 13,000 <br /> <br /> 2.
