49 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF <br />WILCOX AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Benchmark Building Corporation has made <br />application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />hereinafter-described portion of Wilcox Avenue, and it <br />appearing that Notice of Application and Request for <br />Appointment of Viewers has been advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Roy Leinart, James Vick, <br />Thaddeus Lawrence, Richard Todd, and Raymond Tweed be <br />appointed viewers and that Lester Harrington and Robert <br />McCurdy, be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of <br />~he preceding ~iewers~ails to participate,_said viewers to <br />view the hereinafter-described portion of such street and to <br />report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion <br />any, and if any what, inconvenience would result in vacating <br />and closing the following: <br /> <br />Wilcox Avenue <br /> <br /> Ail that certain street known as Wilcox <br />Avenue, situate in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, as shown on the Plat of I. O. Ivey, <br />which plat is recorded in the Clerk's Office <br />of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, <br />in Map Book 3, page 66, and also recorded in <br />the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, in Map Book 1, <br />page 96, to which plat reference is made for <br />a more particular description of said street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 26, 1990. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
