50 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A <br />LARCHWOOD STREET. <br /> <br />PORTION OF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />hereinafter-described portion of Larchwood Street, and it <br />appearing that Notice of Application and Request for <br />Appointment of Viewers has been advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Roy Leinart, Matthew L. Peanort, <br />L.A. Clark, Melville A. Bunting and Lester Harrington be <br />appointed viewers and that Clinton Fortune and Richard Todd, <br />be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the <br />preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to the <br />view the hereinafter-described portion of such street and to <br />report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion <br />any, and if any what, inconvenience would result in vacating <br />and closing the following: <br /> <br />Larchwood Street <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Southwest Intersection of <br />Mount Vernon Avenue and Larchwood Street; thence <br />West along the South right-of-way of Larchwood Street <br />120.19' to its dead end; thence North along the <br />West right-of-way of Larchwood Street 30' to a <br />point; thence East along the North right-of-way of <br />Larchwood Street 119.92' to its Northwest Inter- <br />section with Mount Vernon Avenue; thence South <br />along the West right-of-way of Mount Vernon Avenue <br />30' to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 26, 1990. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
