43 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF A 10 <br />FOOT ALLEY ON THE WEST SIDE OF ROANOKE AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Patricia Y. Parker has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portion of a 10 foot alley, and it appearing that Notice of <br />Application and Request for Appointment of Viewers has been <br />advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Simon Arrington, Robert McCurdy, <br />James McGehee, Raymond Tweed and Waldo Davis be appointed <br />viewers and that C.L. Bailey and James Ely, be appointed <br />alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding viewers <br />fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter- <br />described portion of such street and to report to this Council <br />in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any what, <br />inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the <br />following: <br /> <br /> Ten foot lane immediately West of Lots 18 & 19, <br />Block 11, and immediately North of Lot 19, Block 11 <br />all shown on the plat of Piedmont Heights. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 12, 1990. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
