WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed such <br />application and the site~lans submitted therewith, and has <br />recommended a conditional approval of said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that the <br />approval of a group housing project pursuant to Section 40-55 <br />grants only an exemption from certain requirements for <br />residences as stated in said section and does not constitute a <br />waiver of any other requirement embodied in the subdivision <br />ordinance, zoning ordinance, Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, or any other applicable local, state or federal laws <br />or regulations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer is aware that the building permits <br />and any other required permit will be issued only upon <br />compliance with the ordinances, laws and regulations <br />applicable thereto. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginiar that the certain group housing <br />project designated as GHP-90-1, and more specifically <br />described in correspondence and on plans filed with the <br />appropriate officials of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and <br />referred to in the resolutions of the City Council dated July <br />23, 1985 and January 10, 1989, pertaining to Group Housing <br />Project GHP-85-19, such plans and correspondence bein~ made a <br />part hereof, is hereby granted approval sub3ect to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. A revised site plan, landscaping plan and <br />elevations, reflecting all changes and conditions made through <br />the group housing application process through the date of <br />adoption of this resolution, must be~submitted to and approved <br />by the Planning Departm~ht prior to the issuance of building <br />permits. <br /> <br /> 2. The location of additional lighting for the parking <br />lot must be indicated on the revised site plan. <br /> <br /> 3. Ail remaining terms and conditions of the group <br />housing project, as approved by resolution of the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth~dated July 23, 1985 and modified by <br />resolution of the Council of the City of Portsmouth dated <br />January 10, 1989, shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held October 23, 1990. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
