In an effort to encourage more people to shop <br />in Downtown Portsmouth during the holiday season, I am there- <br />fore suspending the collection of fees from all parking meters <br />during the month of December. As in the rest of the downtown <br />area, there will be a two hour limit on parking, and this <br />policy will be enforced as usual by the Police Department. <br /> <br /> By copy of this memo, I am asking the Public Information <br />Officer to publicize this policy to the maximum extent <br />possible. <br /> <br /> <br />
