1991-104 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 22-613 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1988, PERTAINING TO PARKING METERS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 22-613 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 22-613. <br /> <br />Hours, days provisions apply. <br /> <br /> The provisions of this division shall apply to parking only <br />between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and on days other <br />than Sundays; legal holidays as now declared and observed; legal <br />holidays as may be declared and observed in the future as legal <br />holidays, by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />the Commonwealth of Virginia, or the government of the United <br />States; and to parking on special events days and/or for limited <br />periods of time between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as <br />designated by the City Manager of the City of Portsmouth in <br />parking meter zones or portions thereof as identified by the <br />City Manager, in this city. <br /> <br /> 2.
