(3) <br /> <br />Special rates. The rental rate for not-for-profit <br />organization's events qualifying under this section <br />shall be four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00). <br />Rehearsal rental periods of up to four hours shall <br />be at the rate of one hundred forty dollars <br />($140.00) per rental Deriod; should additional <br />rental time be used for rehearsal, setting up or <br />removing equipment, or other preparation for the <br />even~, and the public is not admitted, the fee shall <br />be sixty dollars ($60.00) per hour and no fractions <br />thereof shall be permitted. <br /> <br /> Not-for-profit organizations located in the city will be <br />eligible for special rate consideration if proceeds of the <br />even~ are retained by the sponsoring organization, or are <br />donated to that organization, and that there are no paid <br />professional performers for the event. The following types of <br />organizations may be considered for special rate <br />classification: <br /> <br />Not-for-profit civic organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit fraternal organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit governmental organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit educational organizations, exclusive of <br /> Portsmouth Public School events~ <br /> <br />Not-for-profit religious organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit charitable organizations. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Conventions.
