(3) <br /> <br />Special rates. The rental rate for not-for-profit <br />organization's events qualifying under this section <br />shall be four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00). <br />Rehearsal rental periods of up to four hours shall <br />be at the rate of one hundred forty dollars <br />($140.00) per rental Deriod; should additional <br />rental time be used for rehearsal, setting up or <br />removing equipment, or other preparation for the <br />even~, and the public is not admitted, the fee shall <br />be sixty dollars ($60.00) per hour and no fractions <br />thereof shall be permitted. <br /> <br /> Not-for-profit organizations located in the city will be <br />eligible for special rate consideration if proceeds of the <br />even~ are retained by the sponsoring organization, or are <br />donated to that organization, and that there are no paid <br />professional performers for the event. The following types of <br />organizations may be considered for special rate <br />classification: <br /> <br />Not-for-profit civic organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit fraternal organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit governmental organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit educational organizations, exclusive of <br /> Portsmouth Public School events~ <br /> <br />Not-for-profit religious organizations; <br /> <br />Not-for-profit charitable organizations. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Conventions. The rental <br />be eight hundred dollars <br />day. <br /> <br />rate for conventions shall <br />($800.00) per eight hour <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />Overtime rates. Hourly overtime rates for use of <br />Willett Hall which extends beyond the contracted <br />event period shall be one hundred dollars (SI00.00) <br />per hour and no fractions thereof shall be <br />permitted. <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />Public school events. There shall be no rental <br />charge for public school events as designated by <br />superintendent of schools. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Section 25-228. <br /> <br />Authority to reduce rental rates, ticketing <br />charges. <br /> <br /> The city manager is authorized to promote events for the <br />use of Willett Hall and to enter into agreements with groups, <br />individuals and firms whereby the city shares the cost of <br />promotion (co-promotion agreements) when in the opinion of the <br /> <br /> <br />
