1992-41 <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-92-8 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That a portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance, which <br />now zones as Downtown D-1-M (Mixed Use) and Downtown D-1-P <br />(Public) the property described in Petition for Zoning <br />Amendment Number Z-92-8, is hereby amended and changed so as <br />to show said property zoned as Downtown D-1-O (Office), and <br />that said property is hereby zoned as Downtown D-1-O (Office). <br /> <br /> 2. That the property affected by this ordinance is <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-92-8 <br /> <br />Beginning at the northeast intersection of Effingham <br />and Clifford Streets; thence north along the east <br />right-of-way of Effingham Street 200'+ to the south <br />right-of-way line of Bart Street; thence <br />northeasterly along said right-of-way 75'+ to a <br />point; thence continuing east along said <br />right-of-way 290'+ to the west right-of-way line of <br />a service road beTonging to the Commonwealth of <br />Virginia; thence south along said right-of-way 50'+ <br />to a point; thence continuing along said <br />right-of-way southwest 65'~; thence continuing <br />southwesterly 200'+ to a point; thence west 170'+ to <br />the east right-of-Way of Effingham Street~ the p~int <br />of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3.
