AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1988, BY AMENDING SECTION 16-67 THEREOF, PERTAINING <br />TO RATES FOR DISPOSAL OF SMALL DEAD ANIMALS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 16-67 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended and reordained to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 16-67. Rates for disposal of small dead animals. <br /> <br /> Whenever small dead animals are to be disposed of by the <br />city from business or commercial establishments, or from <br />persons other than residents of the City, a fee of Fifteen <br />Dollars ($15.00) per animal delivered to the animal crematory <br />or collected by the City, shall be charged. Such small dead <br />animals shall be placed in a properly sealed plastic or <br />polyethylene refuse bag or other suitable container. <br /> <br />2.
