In the event <br />such certificate is used contrary to any such condition, or <br />the event of nonuse of same for a period of three (3) <br />consecutive months, the City Manager may revoke such <br />certificate. <br /> <br />Section 37-68. Suspension or revocation generally. <br /> <br /> (a) Any certificate of public convenience and necessity <br />issued under this division may be suspended by the City <br />Manager for a period of ninety (90) days for any of the <br />following grounds: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Failure to operate a public vehicle as specified in <br />the certificate. <br /> <br />Failure to maintain the public vehicle in good <br />order, appearance and repair. <br /> <br />Failure to pay the parking fee provided for in <br />section 37-192 or personal property tax, license tax <br />or other fees or taxes due to the city or to the <br />state. <br /> <br />Failure <br /> <br />Failure <br />law. <br /> <br />to maintain insurance as required by law. <br />to report any accident required by state <br /> <br />(6 <br /> <br />Hiring any driver whose public vehicle driver's <br />license permit has been revoked. <br /> <br />(7 <br /> <br />Using and knowingly permitting the use of a public <br />vehicle for the illegal sale or purchase of <br />alcoholic beverages or any controlled substance. <br /> <br />(8) <br /> <br />Knowingly permitting the use of a public vehicle for <br />prostitution, soliciting or pandering or knowingly <br />permitting a public vehicle to transport persons to <br />houses of ill fame. <br /> <br />(9) <br /> <br />Willful or continued failure to comply with the <br />provisions of this article or any other law or <br />ordinance regulating the operation of public <br />vehicles within the city. <br /> <br />(10) Conviction of a felony. <br /> <br />(11) Conviction of larceny. <br /> <br />(12) Conviction of driving while intoxicated. <br /> <br /> <br />
