(b) For purposes of enforcing removal of a lead hazard <br />as defined in Section 2-425, the Director of Public Health <br />shall have all the same powers of enforcement as the Director <br />of Environmental Services, with the exception that the <br />Director shall not perform any abatement that may be ~equired, <br />and the Director of Public Health is hereby designated as an <br />enforcement officer under the Housing Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth for these purposes only. In any instance of a lead <br />hazard, the term reasonable time for abatement shall be such <br />time as the Director of Public Health shall declare for <br />removal of this nuisance to the health and safety of occupants <br />or the public. <br /> <br /> (c) If an order to abate zs not complied within the time <br />specified in such notice, the occupant, the owner or his <br />agent, or other person who under the terms of the lease or <br />rental is charged with the duty of maintaining and keeping the <br />premises in repair shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> 3.
