(c) For all water which passes through the meters of the <br />City of Chesapeake pursuant to contract, the City of <br />Chesapeake shall pay two dollars and ninety-two and five <br />hundredths cents ($2.925) per one thousand (1,000) gallons or <br />two dollars and eighteen and eighty-two hundredths cents <br />($2.1882) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of water supplied. <br /> <br /> (d) For all water which passes through meters to the <br />City of Suffolk pursuant to contract, the City of Suffolk <br />shall pay one dollar and seventy-eight and seventy-six <br />hundredths cents ($1.7876) per one thousand (1,000) gallons or <br />one dollar and thirty-three and seventy-three hundredths cents <br />(1.3373) per one hundred (100) cubic feet of water supplied. <br /> <br /> 4. That Section 38-94(b) of the Code of the City of <br />PortsmOuth, Virginia (1988), be amended and reordained to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 38-94. <br /> <br />Discontinuing service for failure to pay and <br />other remedies. <br /> <br /> (b) If water service to a premises is shut off pursuant <br />to this section at the meter cutoff valve, the amount due and <br />a turn-on fee of twelve dollars ($12.00) shall be paid before <br />the service will be restored; provided that, in the event <br />water service to the premises has been turned on by an <br />unauthorized person, there shall be an inspection fee of <br />twelve dollars ($12.00) to cover the cost of the requisite <br />inspection. Such fees shall not apply to shutting off water <br />service at the tap cutoff valve, but the provisions of section <br />38-40(d) shall govern. <br /> <br /> 5.
