ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-94-4 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that: 1. The portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Residential RS-60 and Commercial C-i, the property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-94-4, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as Residential RM-60-K (Conditional), and that said property is hereby zoned as Residential RM-60-K (Conditional). 2. The property affected by this ordinance by being zoned Residential RM-60-K (Conditional), is described as follows: Z-94-4 Beginning at the northeast intersection of Lincoln Street and Des Moines Avenue; thence north along the east right-of-way line of Des Moines Avenue 159.2 feet to a point; thence east along a side property line 100 feet to a point; thence south 50 feet; thence east 100 feet to the west right-of-way line of Lansing Avenue; thence south along said right-of-way 109.2 feet to the north right-of-way of Lincoln Street; thence west along said right-of-way 200 feet to Des Moines Avenue, the point of origin. 3. Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-94-4 is conditioned upon the following as proffered by Leon D. Hutchinson, Church Administrator, Holy Light Church of Deliverance. (a) Use of the property is limited to those uses also permitted in a Residential RS-60 zoning district. (b) The applicant will provide and construct sixty-two (62) on-site parking spaces. 4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on June 28, 1994. Teste: City Clerk
