AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $1,592,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTSFUND FOR RENOVATIONS OF THE BUILDING LOCATED IN <br />THE 200 BLOCK OF HIGH STREET, THAT WILL BECOME THE CHILDREN'S <br />MUSEUM OF VIRGINIA. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the sum of One Million Five Hundred and <br />Ninety Two Thousand and 00/100 ($1,592,000.00) Dollars be, and <br />the same hereby is appropriated from the Capital Improvements <br />Fund for renovations of the building located in the 200 block <br />of High Street, which will include an expenditure not to exceed <br />$175,000.00 for an atrium on the High Street side of the building, <br />that will become the Children's Museum of Virginia. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on May 24, 1994. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
